How Advice is Given

Traditional advisers work with two meetings, first to gather information and then second to sell you something! Each meeting may take several hours or a whole evening. My work is a process not an event involving short episodes of engagement, discussion, clarification, advice and reviews through a series of conversations, e-mails or letters.

The process may take anything from several weeks to several months or even longer depending on the complexity of the work and your level of interest.

Whilst face to face meetings are available at your home or my home office most of my advice is by post, phone or e-mail. This eliminates the need to charge for my travel time. Please note however clients in Eastbourne or within five miles of the town centre are not charged for travel time.

In addition I typically ask clients to undertake certain tasks for example completing forms in order to minimise my fee costs.

Advice, both generic and specific, is backed up in writing whilst naturally I welcome clients’ queries and questions at any time. Care is taken to address your enquiries and concerns comprehensively.

Contact with me is very personal and easy – there are no call waiting times, no options to select on your phone and no inane telephone messages! Typically clients find my response times to queries are very quick.
